An Exciting Volunteer Experience!
A Volunteer's gift of time: providing a few hours of relief for an Alzheimer's Caregiver.
This Volunteer Program has been designed to provide in-home Caregiver relief to those caring for individuals with Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias. Specially trained volunteers will offer non-medical support to Caregivers in their homes by providing companionship and friendship to the care recipient. This service will offer the client relief from his/her caregiving responsibilities. The Friendly Visiting Program is available to those residing in Peterborough County and City.
